This is for one child to participate in the Dance with a Knight event on Friday, October 17th at 5:00 p.m. at SMHS.

Priority Registration Deadline October 6, 2025 *anyone registering after this date cannot be guaranteed a Tshirt - we will do our best to accommodate. 

It includes a dance lesson, dinner, a Dance Team shirt, game entry, and participation in a half time performance that same night with the Knights Dance Team during the Varsity football game!

This does not include entry to the football stadium or game for any parent, guardian, or family member, which must be purchased separately through the GoFan app. 

Important Notes:

1) Ages 6 - 13 only please.  Everyone is welcome! 

2) After you select a t-shirt size and add this item to your Cart, please click "View Cart" and enter the child’s first and last name in the "Dancer's First Name" space you will find in the Shopping Cart, so we know who you are paying for. 

3) Be sure to enter a parent or guardian phone number at check out.  We will verify this information at check-in.

4) Check-in begins at 5 pm in the quad and the entrance gate closes at 5:30.  Directional signs will be posted in the front of the high school showing where check-in is located.  The high school will be busy, as the JV football game will be underway, and it is Senior Night for our Varsity team, so please allow yourself sufficient time to park and plan to arrive at check-in no later than 5:15.  

3)  Dancers should wear black pants/leggings, sneakers and a shirt to wear underneath the provided SMDT t-shirt. We will be pre-selling a pair of pink light up poms as an optional purchase. The link for this can be found on the Dance with a Knight SMDT store page. 

6) We appreciate prompt pick up in front of the gym inside the stadium immediately following the half-time performance.  We estimate that half-time will begin around 8 pm, but the time varies according to game play.

Please note that by registering your child for Dance with a Knight, you understand and accept that there may be a risk of injury as this is an athletic event. San Marcos High School, SMUSD, the athletes and event staff/volunteers can not be held liable in the event of injury. 

Special dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated.
